About The Brewery

All the beer at Blue Corn is brewed on a one manned 7 barrel brew house. There are four 7 barrel fermenters and one 15 barrel fermenter. The 15 barrel is used exclusively for the Road Runner IPA, our most popular beer. Our Head Brewer, John Bullard uses the finest ingredients from around the world to make a wide variety of ales and lagers. Blue Corn Brewery has 6 house beers and 4 rotating specialty beers.

Head Brewer, John Bullard’s passion for craft beer began when he was a home-brewer in his early twenties. Bullard quickly gave up his job and began delivering beer for Marble Brewery. From there he moved up the ranks and was able to work in the brewery where he gained valuable knowledge. Shortly thereafter he became assistant brewer for Blue Corn Brewery and Chama River Brewing Company. Under the guidance of some of New Mexico's most talented brewers Bullard really learned the art of craft brewing.

He left Blue Corn Brewery to enroll in the American Brewers Guild, started a family, and returned to Marble. Shortly after graduation he was able to start his career as a professional brewer by becoming Head Brewer at Blue Corn Brewery. He enjoys brewing stylistically correct beers as well as creative non-traditional beers. Bullard looks forward to the years ahead and the many beers to come. Cheers!
